‘I’m going to be a doctor when I grow up’, says this energetic 4-year old bundle of joy. ‘No, actually I’m going to be the world’s best doctor!’ she quickly corrects herself. Saraswati is clearly the one of the most cheerful kids in Vathsalya. She stresses that she wants to cure everyone who’s suffering by her painless injections and ensure that they are all well looked after.
Saraswati points to a sketch she has made - that of her family. Her father is a security guard and her mother works as a domestic help. She has a little brother - Shekhar, whom she adores a lot. If she has it her way, she would love to sit and talk endlessly about the cute little activities of her daily life with so much energy and enthusiasm that it will leave anyone awestruck. She will grow up to make her parents, teachers and friends proud with our support. You can help shape the dreams of migrant kids like Saraswati please click here.
